CANADA’S FAMILY WITH S’MORE INVITES TORONTONIANS TO
CELEBRATE NATIONAL S’MORES DAY
TORONTO – For more than 80 years, Canadians have been combining three simple ingredients to create an unforgettable campfire treat. To celebrate National S’mores Day, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate is bringing that treat to the big city – with a little help from a Canadian whose S’mores story has won her the title of Hershey’s Family with S’more.
On Tuesday, August 10, Torontonians will enjoy a break from city life with a taste of a traditional S’mores experience in the middle of the big city, at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre.
In addition, Pamela Biron, Hershey’s Family with S’more winner, will be on-site to help prepare the famous, chocolately, gooey treat. Biron won a recent nationwide search to find the Canadian family that best embodies the fun, family spirit of S’mores. Her passion for S’mores is clearly demonstrated in her story, in which she recounts the S’mores experience she and her husband offered guests at their wedding.
Members of the media will have the opportunity to partake in individual S’mores 101 sessions with a S’mores expert from Hershey’s Kitchens, who will provide a primer on the quintessential summertime treat.
